sleepy but can't sleep. i'm getting really hot from the heat being generated on my left leg as mimi sleeps against it.

it's so nice to be home.. in my bed, in my room.
whenever i go out of town, i try to bring my own blanket, pillow, bear, anything to make me feel at home, but it always fails. it always ends up just being a lonely hotel room, with unfamiliar smell, rough bed sheets, uncomfortable mattress, plain towels, dirty carpet, empty closet, 50 pillows, and no food. it helps me better measure the sentimental value of my home and grow even more affection for it.

it's funny, i thought i'd enjoy going on out of town business trips, but after all, i can't hide my constant need to be surrounded by familiarity and people.


man... i keep readjusting to get away from mimi but she keeps adjusting with me and ends up with her big fat warm body right against mine again.
