wow, what a long and eventful day. quite fun actually. but now i sure am ready to jump in my cozy bed and peacefully enter into the dream world on my soft pillow... with my fluffy and soap-smelling white bear (i just washed him).

quick recap of my long day:

i was late for church today. yes, AGAIN. it's become a weekly exercise for me to sprint (in high heels) from my parked car to the church every sunday morning. ;-) anyhow, worship was good as always. jerry's special praise was truly an unexpected blessing and an encouragement to me. i was humbled by the humility that this brother displayed in his short time of praise. seeing him raise his arms in utter surrender and reverence to God made me, for a moment, forget the hardships and realities of this world and reminded me of the ultimate reality of our living God whom i pictured smiling down upon us. during fellowship time, hc members got an opportunity to sign-up for various ministries. i think we will finally get a female member on the worship team. yay!! and double yay for kingsfest this coming saturday!! rachel lampa, baby. hehe... EVERYBODY should go. :-D

after church, i had a "business" meeting with s.b. and m.c. when i went over for this meeting, i was expecting to be informed of s's general business operations and use my accounting knowledge (the little that i have) to simply suggest ways of setting up and maintaining his books. which was the only way i knew of to help at this point in my education and career. little did i know that this 2-hour meeting over pretzels and lemonade might change my future. i am excited about this journey that we have made our first steps to embark on.

from there, i went to hc's women's group meeting that was to be held at malissa's house. i have to admit, i always love going there. it's such a beautiful house. we, sisters of all ages, talked and laughed... and ate, of course. deacon y.k.'s lasagna was really delicious. i dunno how, but i'm slowly starting to become known as a girl with a big appetite. i will not name names, but one person from the young adults ministry even said that whenever they get together where there is a lot of food, he remembers me. should i take that as a compliment? hmm...

so that was my day. and now the time has come for me to sleep. it was nice talking to you.

*~~sweet dreams to all~~*
