ahh.... i am home.
something funny happened today. this morning, i had been working away on my computer as usual, when suddenly, i get a sametime message (internal IM - it's just like AIM) from a name that i didn't recognize. when i first read it, i almost choked. then when i read it again for the second time, i realized that it was just a simple spelling mistake. i would share with you what exactly was written on it, but i'm afraid it might be too inappropriate. if you really wanna know, ask me later in private. :-)
today was my first day in the new office. and boy does it look nice and spiffy. now i get to work while enjoying the view of the harbor (unfortunately, i can't always get a cubicle near the window... i wonder if they'll let me steal one of the conference rooms in the corners.) but apparently, the manager i worked with today hates the new location for two reasons: lunch and parking. there is nothing you can get under like 10 bucks for lunch unless you have the time and the energy to walk 3 miles. and you have to pay for expensive parking every time you're in the office (which for him is often late at night), unless, again, you are willing to park at a meter like 3 miles away. he does have a point, but i love the modernness, cleanliness, and the technology of the new office too much to complain about anything else. i kept thinking, "wow, i wish i wouldn't have to leave this place in 2 months." man, i'm jealous of my sister. i think i'm gonna show her the office some time this week. she's gonna be totally psyched (for pb - siked).

mimi is the most adorable dog in the whole wide world. she is sitting next to me and chewing my old gum. man, i wish you were here to see this. well, i'm hungry for some dinner now, so... you have a good rest of the day.
