finally. i've waited so long for this.

FREEDOM!!

it feels great. i'm done with finals, my last day of work was today, i'll start at E&Y in less than 2 weeks, i have a new car (which is reeeeeeaaaally nice by the way), my room is clean, there is an endless supply of food at home, it's raining.... did i mention i'm done with finals? hehe...

let the party begin.

guess what everybody!

i feel like i've already told half the world, but let me officially announce it to the world: I BOUGHT MY FIRST NEW CAR!!

wanna see? i don't have leather seats or a sun roof. i thought with my budget, i can do without either. but i still LOVE IT. i'll take everyone for a ride after i get it tomorrow. :-) the good thing is, i got an excellent deal. my mom and i went to two other dealers, and they offered us nothing even close to it. they looked at us like 'are you nuts?' but at the third dealer, of course, my mom fought the salesman and even the manager for the price we want.

if you're ever thinking about buying a toyota car, go to R&H Toyota on Reisterstown Rd. and just tell them my mom's name. you'll get your car for the price you want. seriously, when my mom went to this same dealer 8 years ago to buy my now-totaled-corolla, she stayed from about 6pm to 2am, convincing them to lower the price. when we went on saturday, we saw that this salesman was still working there! too bad we didn't deal with him. it was cool though... after all the dealing was done, we couldn't help but laugh. it turns out that the wife of the manager graduated from villa julie college. and our salesman had sold 3 cars that day, so he couldn't stop smiling.

alright, enough about my car. by the way, if you haven't already, go watch this. it was AWESOME.

well, i should go study.... now that i've sent off paul and my sister to the formal at hopkins. i felt like a parent sending off my kids to prom or something. they looked reeeaaally nice. now my sister won't keep me up every night trying on like 50 different dresses. hehe...

my boss is driving me nuts.

thanks everybody... for all your concerns... prayers... and phone calls. i'm doing much better. i feel a little antsy staying at home all day, but it's been a good opportunity for me to relax and catch up on some reading. but i'll be back at school and maybe even work on monday. i do feel a little self-conscious about the lacerations on my face though. oh well... they'll heal soon, i hope.
